Supplies for K-6 Art
In today's tough economic times, it's good to know that teaching Art doesn't have to cost a lot of money! With school budgets under increasingly careful scrutiny, it's more important than ever to "get the most bang for your buck" when it comes to consumable supplies.
The items pictured here are all inexpensive, basic yet versatile supplies for teaching Art. These supplies cover about 90% of the materials I use in my K-6 Art curriculum. (The other 10% supports 3D Art, such as sculpture, so some different materials need to be purchased for those lessons.)
In upcoming posts, I'll be sharing some tips for working with each of these different supplies as well as some fun Art lesson ideas, so stay tuned! (Special thanks to Mabel Gidcumb, manager of Palace Art & Office Supply in Capitola, for allowing me to take pictures in her store!)
hooray for Palace! =)
ReplyDeleteit's neat how little can be spent for a whole year's worth of supplies.
